Bill Cumberlidge

Managing Director

Bill has over 40 years of experience within the aviation leasing and asset finance industry, where he focused on origination, transaction, and asset management. Prior to forming City Aviation Capital Ltd as a natural progression, successor and rebranding of Centrus Aviation Capital Ltd, Bill was Chairman and CEO of Aviation Partners Ltd and prior to that, he was the Executive Director at KV Aviation, an operating lessor with offices in London and Sydney. Prior to that, he was the Head of Aviation Asset Management at Allco Finance Group, where he held the position since 2003.

Bill holds an MBA degree in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University, England. He is the past president of ISTAT (International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading) and was a board member for 10 years. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, the Royal Aeronautical Society, and a member of the Wings Club.

Chris Taylor

Managing Director

Chris has over 35 years’ experience within asset finance Industry, gaining an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of financial products. Over that time, he has focused mainly on aviation and has a deep understanding of the aviation industry. As a qualified pilot he has a good understanding of the operational requirements of airlines.

Prior to forming City Aviation Capital Ltd as a natural progression, successor and rebranding of Centrus Aviation Capital Ltd, Chris as a founding Partner, formed Aviation Investment Management LLP as an independent aviation asset management company.

Nick Bowyer

Managing Director

Nick has over 35 years’ experience within the asset finance industry, where he has focused mainly on aircraft finance and the aviation sector, including airports and air traffic control services. Nick has structured and arranged high value transactions using various finance and leasing structures on behalf of airlines, lessors and service providers.

Prior to forming CACL with Centrus, Nick as a founding Partner, formed Aviation Investment Management LLP as an independent aviation asset management company. Whilst at Cantor Fitzgerald Europe as a Managing Director in the Aviation Finance Group Nick had responsibility for origination, structuring and placement of aviation transactions to its investor clients.
